Aisha Jamila is an American actress best known for her roles on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. In the years since her debut she has demonstrated her ability to perform on shows like Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. She was first noticed for her character Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. It was however her portrayal of feminist activist Fannie Louis Hamer in the biography film All the Way, which brought her the recognition she was due as an actor. Hind is also being acknowledged for her performance in the role she performed as Harriet Tubman within WGN America's historical drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that 9-1-1 will continue for an additional season. Hind has completed filming for the Hollywood movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled to be released in mid-2019. Her mother Krishnaraj was an Army scientist who passed away in March of 2017 and her mother Vrinda is a housewife. Aditya is her older brother and an engineer in the merchant navy. The brother of Bachchan wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mom. Her family relocated to Mumbai and she attended Arya Vidya Mandir. After finishing her studies for intermediate in Jai Hind College, she enrolled at D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she scored 90% for her H.S.C. exams. She spent the first five years in adolescence learning about classical music and dance. She was a lover of the study of zoology. Bachchan at the time, studying architecture, won the title of Miss World in the year 1994. The title helped her get into the modeling industry. In 2003, she received high-paying jobs with PepsiCo Inc. as well as Vogue magazine. She also got a contract as an L'Oreal Paris spokesmodel. The year 1997 was the time she had two celebrated role: Iruvar and Aur pyaar Hogaia. Bachchan's New Bollywood was boosted by the fact that both films were a departure from the standard Bollywood format. Bachchan was crowned the Queen Of Bollywood by her heartbreaking performance as Paro the character of the love of her life character in Devdas (2002) which is one of the most well-known Bollywood movies. Devdas also happened to become the first Bollywood film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. The film received a lot of praise for her role on the screen in Chokher Bali (2003) which was a dramatic film based on Rabindranath Tagore's book. The same year, she was the first Indian actress to serve on the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan appeared as a character in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan brought both her star-power as well as her beautiful appearance to her first major English film. She returned to Bollywood to star in the success Dhoom: 2 (2006) and then released Provoked The Story of Provoked True Story (2006) in English. Abhishek Bachchan is a Bollywood celebrity and a frequent co-star. The actor is also the father of Amitabh Bachchan.
