Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress, born in Berkeley on October 1, 1996. She is an actress, well-known for Choices (2010), The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House (2022).

Asia Argento was raised in Rome by a film and actor family. Both professions she pursued her own. The Church, directed by Michele Soavi, was her first role. In the year following, she played Nanni Moritti's daughter as a child in Red Wood Pigeon. Her profession took off after she landed the role of Nanni's daughter for the film Close Friends. Cannes International Film Festival received the movie well. Daria Nicholodi was one of Argento's favorite actresses. She played the role of an orexic kid looking for the killer. Asia's intense and concentrated style of performing was well used in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato a nozze. She also starred in Carlo Verdones Perdiamoci di vista, in which she played Arianna who was a physical challenged woman. This role was complex and challenging, earning an award from David di Donatello as best actor. In 1995 she worked with Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio. This collaboration won her the David di Donatello prize as well as the Grolla oro. Asia started directing short films in 1994. She also directed an episode for the film De Generazione. 1996 saw her directing a documentary alongside her dad. 1998 she directed AbelAsia about the famous director Abel Ferrara. This film was awarded a prize at the Rome Film Festival. Asia began her career as a filmmaker in 1999 with Scarlet Diva. The film was also the principal screenwriter and actress. In May 2000, the movie was released throughout the world. The Williamsburg Film festival in Brooklyn, New York awarded the film with a prize.
